Weekly swims with SLSC
Our weekly swims for the 2024-25 summer season will be Saturdays, meeting at 8:45am for about 9am in the water.
For your safety, we strongly recommend bringing a tow float (SLSC can buy discounted tow floats through the club). We have a limited number available to borrow. Tow floats help you be seen by other water users and swimmers.
Learn the Lake 2024
After a successful series last year, we’re bringing Learn the Lake back!
Learn the Lake is a series of four guided open water swimming sessions designed to help you gain experience and confidence in Lake Whakatipu. You’ll swim short distances, supported by swim teachers experienced swimmers and a stand-up paddle boarder or kayaker.
The sessions are free for SLSC members.
